The Museum of the History of Polish Jews opens today, 19 April 2013 in Warsaw, on the 70th anniversary of the start of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.
A big day in Warsaw’s history.
I will be visiting the Museum on 10 May.

I look forward to seeing your photos!
Hi Eli, very interesting as my fathers family were Polish/Jewish , from 91 Marszalkowskaa street in Warsaw. of 49 members of the family before the war, only 3 are known to have survived, my father, 1 aunt, and a cousin, all the rest perished.
Unfortunatly because of the trauma of wat, my father, who was a medical doctor, never spoke much about his family. I have recently been researching the family history, and through that came accross distant cousins, in America, who did not know they had Jewish backgrounds.
I also live in Perth, so I wish you a pleasant roots trip.
