Walking Warsaw

Hi

I walked my feet off in Warsaw looking for evidence of a Jewish community that once was so significant!

It is quite a shock to see how little has survived.

There are no remnants of the wall, only markers indicating where it stood.

I went to shul on Friday night and there were about 70 people there, mostly visitors.

Here is a track from the CD:  Melodies of the Burnt Synagogues.

Unfortunately, the chazonis on Friday night was not of this standard!
